Shipping&Returns


SHIPPING INFORMATION

At DxE Atelier, we offer international shipping from Saarbrücken, Germany.

All our hats are made-to-order and carefully packed and insured.

  • Germany: Free shipping via insured DHL Paket (2–4 business days).
  • EU countries: Flat rate of 19 EUR, insured and tracked (3–6 business days).
  • International (non-EU): Flat rate of 38 EUR, insured and tracked (7–21 business days via regular postal services).
    Express delivery options are available upon request. Please contact us at info@dxeatelier.de for express rates.

You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details via email once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow 3–6 business days for order processing. For custom designs, processing times may be longer.

CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

All DxE Atelier hats are handcrafted and made-to-order in the size you select.

Please ensure your head measurements are accurate before placing an order. If you need help, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to guide you.

Customized or special orders may take up to 4–6 weeks, depending on material availability and production schedule. In many cases, orders are fulfilled sooner.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing.

This is in accordance with § 312g (2) BGB of German civil law, which excludes the right of withdrawal for goods made to customer specifications.

However, if you realize an error in your order (e.g., size or color), please email us within 24 hours of placing the order. We will do our best to accommodate changes if production hasn’t begun.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

We take pride in our craftsmanship. All items are covered by a 3-month warranty for materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper handling or storage
  • Damage caused by third parties (e.g. during transit by carriers)

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us at info@dxeatelier.de with photos and a description of the issue within 7 days of receipt.

We will assess whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.

Return shipping costs for damaged goods are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

REFUNDS

Since each item is made individually to order, we do not offer refunds. This includes orders that are canceled after production has begun.

We appreciate your understanding of the time, effort, and materials invested into each handcrafted piece.
